It's that time of year again: sign up for a Singing Valentine for your loved one!
The Nor’easters are constantly seeking men who like to sing as possible new members! Join them as they perform throughout the mid coast area all year long. We do Singing Valentines to local recipients, perform a benefit concert for the Respite Care Program of Greater Brunswick/Topsham, sing the national anthem at Hadlock Field for a Sea Dogs baseball game in the summer, put on Santa hats to entertain our elder citizens in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in December, and whoop up the younger set with their rendition of Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer on the Mid-coast Literacy Volunteers Candy Cane Trains at Christmastime as well as many other venues. Our mission is to entertain the audiences of Mid-coast Maine and all places in-between. Barbershop music is uniquely written acapella music with gorgeous chords we love to "ring" and make that overtone ring away! Camaraderie in this chorus is not surpassed by any other singing group and makes our Tuesday nights that much more special by being with other men who are there for their love of singing and fellowship with other male singers!
We rehearse most Tuesday evenings starting at 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 340 Oak Grove Avenue in Bath where we welcome visitors with warmth, good cheer, and great song. Call Ray at 542-7229 to make sure we are rehearsing that night (or check our Calendar, to the left), or if you need to arrange a ride.
